Here's one for you Tekka http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=102240&item=4564776306&rd=1&tc=photo
Only 5% are manuals. Because most Commodores are bought for fleets, they are autos. Manuals can be a bit hard to find, but they are out there. Here is another one on Ebay, with a lot less Km. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4565012861&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&rd=1 I have a VS S2 manual that I bought new in 1997 (going to my 16 year old son soon) and a VY S2 manual as well. I am really happy with both cars. Cheers.
Maybe, maybe not! In the new market, those who buy V8 manuals may intend to thrash them. However, I don't think that the V6 buyers are necessarily that way inclined. I buy a V6 manual for practical reasons. I have never thrashed my VS S2, my VL manual or my VY S2 manual. I would agree that second hand buyers are more likely to drive them hard. If you can find a one owner, you might have a better chance of success. But I guess there might not be too many one owners around too.
