I don't think you should do any bonnet mods as it will ruin the stock look of the car, obviously you want it to be subtle but Hak's idea could work though i believe the cross ITB's look better like Jecs'

Drysump FTW! Will still need to angle the runners to fit under the bonnet though

That manifold would suck if u where out driving ,witch will happen and being Australia that can rain when it's sunny witch one day the 2 will happen at the same time unexpectedly, and u could end up with water where it's not wanted !!!

Go something that fits under bonnet !!!

On another note, a big thanks to backjansz who has kindly photo-shopped a pic for me to get an idea of what the car will look like with the exhaust tip I have in mind and with the wider rears. This is it, technology is cool :)

I think it's a personal thing, I really like the oval, I think it makes the back look phat. I also like the fact it's a variation on the original which sort of ones with the build.

Yeah your car. I just don't think the suit the cut out properly. Definitely going to be a sleeper that's for sure.

wow im so glad this is in adelaide hopefully will get a glimps of it oneday when its cruising the streets :D

as for the exhuast tip i think if it will look exactly like that it will look the goods, it only when the oval tip doesnt fit in the cutout and hangs to low that it looks crap

You are a champion among men.

This car will be something else when it's engineered and driven on the streets once more. Nobody will be capable of resisting the smooth paint, the surprisingly wide wheels or the incredible noise that monster engine will produce.

    Kudos.

LOL! Big overkill on the width of the tyres in that chop. The oval looks good.

Dunno really, I think it's not far off, they will be 50mm wider than stock which is a lot, and the way I did the offset will take them pretty much right out to just inside the guards. Will be interesting when I get back to fit them take a photo and compare the real to shopped.

This thread is full of win. Damn nice build. I too am a fan of the HSV VR/VS models.

Glad you put it up on JC as I never go on that other site any more, haven't for years really.

I too like the oval tip :)

    Updates?

I know it's no rush in this build, but I'd love to know if anything else has been done :)
