Vr spac ute clean up bns ute

    Hey all
    I now its not everyones cup of tea but this is my vr spac ute witch i got from my mum
    Its been in the family since 1998
    And she aways wanted to do it in a bns theim but never got around to it
    So thats what im going to do with it but it wont be over the top
    Anyway its been sitting in the shed on my mums farm for 18 month now and last weekend i got to bring it home
    Anyway here are some pics

    It'll be interesting to see, should be good. It's come up nice with a good clean and sitting a little lower.
    I like that color, my first commodore was a vr v6 5 speed ute the same color, a very reliable vehicle

    Wow they are massive bars do they sit really high, or maybe its the pic. Sold my ss ute ones years ago for a fortune.

    Yeap, you've cleaned it up nice and I think it"s looking how I'd picture it from what you said you wanted to do. That bar does look massive in some of those photos, don't worry about roos it'd take care of camels !!! Any other plans for it or you just going to enjoy it?

    Ive got some checker plate stone gaurds getting made and a few other little bits here and there
    Im got to drop a 5ltr in it at some point but ill keep in manual apart from that and a decent sterio ill be injoying it

    Like you said mate its not my cup of tea... but in saying that i like the fact your fixing the old girl up. Looks like a nice tidy bus. I see so many clapped out vs utes in adelaide that the owners dont give a **** about.
    I grew up in the sticks so ive seen alot of bns style utes in my time.
    I think your hitting your theme perfectly... down to the bundy boy plate. Fits the country lad profile perfectly

    Had to reg the ute an been driving it the last 3 week so far so good
    I also picked up a donor car last week its a vr executive 5ltr 5 speed will post pics soon

    The interior cleaned up pretty good, i put black carpet in my one as the standard colours terrible for stains

    I used washing liquid and my preshure cleaner then let dry for about a week

    So bit of an update
    The clutch went in it so i thought it was time to play i bought a vr 5ltr 5 speed sedan and i took every thing out and fitted it to the ute ive also lowered it alround
    Fitted all new suspention and fitted cental locking and elect mirrors a nee sterio led lights and more spot lights
    Ill up load some pics shortly
