VR SS 1994 5L auto to manual conversion trouble

hey i am converting my vr from auto to manual, i have every thing in and done, except the loom, i have the manual loom and ECU but the auto loom plugs wont go into the manual ECU, so i thought i will just change the whole loom, but i started to do that and the plugs are differnt threw out the loom. Any ideas or help would be great..

won't the loom just unplug from the motor and swap straight over

Nar thats what i thought and i tryed, at atleast 3 multi pin plugs are differnt and wont pluch straight in...

then it might be easier to just modify your auto loom. from memory all you have to do is reroute the speedo sensor wire to go directly to the dash instead of going through the ecu, bridge the park sensor so it will start, wire up the reverse switch and then take it to a mechanic who has a scan tool and get the auto part of the ecu disabled so the engine light turns off. hope this helps
