is your car IRS or live axle? if it's a live axle setup then the answer is a straight NO. if it's IRS setup then the simple answer is yes, however, there are differences between VR/VS - VT - VX - VY IRS diffs. i believe (others may confirm) the s1 VT V8 and VT V6 IRS diffs are the same as VR/VS, however on the s2 VT V8 they went to a slightly bigger diff BW80 i think it's called, it has a slightly larger crown wheel and pinion. also, there are more differences again between VT -VX - VY also, different size axles and hubs i believe. so to do a conversion you would need the entire diff assembly from a later model to fit into your car but it can be done.

the best person to talk to would be Stealthy, he has done this conversion on his ride, VP international (IRS)

add:if your talking about just the LSD center then unfortunatly thats a problem to, if it's from IRS to another IRS car and it's a BW78 center then it should fit however it won't fit if it's from an IRS into a live axle as they have different offsets on the diff centers
