    Or actually serious...

The VR SS has a Holden 5L... and the VX SS does NOT have a chev engine but a GM 5.7L LS1

Do you mean know and scene?

Oh, so they blow a lot of smoke due to engine troubles?

Okay whippersnapper, put your learning cap on and read the following points.

    1. VR SS (and earlier) up to series 1 VT SS had the 5 litre "aussie" v8 in it (thats what its called) from the VT SS Series 2 onwards to VZ SS Series 1 was the 5.7L GM V8 called the LS1, VZ SS series 2 to current VE SS had the LS2 which was 6L, the LS3 is currently used in HSV's which is the LS3 6.2L

    2. The LS engine name is from america, google GM LS engines and read the wikipedia entry....

    3. The whole chevy badge thing comes from an lot of previous chevy models using the LS powerplant...

    4. A fully worked RB25 stands no chance against a mildy worked LS engine FYI

    5. Its hard to see the exhaust smoke from your RB25 from my rearview mirror......the R33 was/is a boat, i beat them in my ford territory..

    6. 300rwkw is obtained by a tune and a cam with the LS1.....its not exactly overworked either....these things can make 400rwkw without too much problem

Also the 5.0 was stroked to 5.7, referred to as a Harrop stroker

R33 is no boat, the GTST weighs 1370kg (only 50kg more than an R32) and will make 270-300rwkw readily.

My VS Clubsport weights a little bit more and struggles to make 185kw at the flywheel (am working on this atm :))

In comparison a VE Commodore (1750kg+) would need around 400kW atw (getting towards 500kw at the flywheel) just to keep up.

I know which I would rather take to the track!

I can assure you that the Skyline has a superior suspension design to any Commodore (or Territory/Falcon for that fact) in existence. What does them being a boat have to do with 'beating' them with your Territory (which is an even bigger boat)?
