Having said that its a lot louder in person than on the video's.. phone camera doesn't do it justice

Don't bother with a 383 if you're going to stroke go 408.

With the heads you'll probably only need a Newen valve job by Higgins as the ports flow way too much for even a 408ci.
Then give here a stage two or three Brian Tooley cam.
I've spent a couple of weeks looking into these engines as I'm thinking about changing from Holden V8 to a LS.

I could almost start the build straight away but will probably start in a month or 2. As for the paint code I will have to get back to you on that one!

Were you talking about the Holden or the LS?
I thought you were talking about stroking the VE?
