Hey All
Its been awhile since I've posted anything but thought I'd give you all an update as to what's going on with the build. As we all know covid has halted/slowed everyone's plans and has impacted on this build with getting goods across borders or the closure of business's due to lockdown. I'm still waiting on some parts that should arrive just before Christmas (fingers crossed) and then I have everything for the build of this beast.
I will let you guys know more about the build when we actually start as I will be doing some video/tutorials on YouTube with the 383 build. Also my computer passed away about 6 months ago so vids might be tad slow, aswell as moving houses...
Anyway I will leave you guys with pic of another beastly ute I acquired. Which one would you have? if you got too pick one!!

Thought I'd give you all an update as things have been hectic this year. So, I've pretty much got everything for the 383 build, just waiting on the memcal from "come racing" and then things should kick off with the build, well so i thought anyway.. As you all pretty much aware, unless you've been sleeping under a rock.. the east coast of Aus had some major flooding, don't worry though i had moved from where i was prior to the flood and all my vehicles were safe. I still had all of my 383 stuff still at the old place and could not get back in time to save it from the water.
By the time i could get back in to town safely the damage was done.. everything went under in the flood for the 383 build.. also lost ride on mowers and had a lot of damage to the house.
I managed to get all of the 383 stuff back to my new place and immediately pulled it all apart to clean all the parts and smother them in WD40 (its all i had), put all the parts in zip lock bags and label everything and have wrapped them in blankets to keep moisture away.. The only thing i really need to sort out now are the injectors.. need to get any sludge out of them..
So anyway, that's where I'm at at the moment..

I cleaned the injectors out today with some carby cleaner a syringe and a button loom, its my mates setup.. so much gunk come out and got the spray patterns back to normal, had to reverse the spray back and forth to knock out any sludge.. I will try throw up a pic tomorrow of the sludge..
I'm sure the build will start in a month or two.. :D
