The center bearing support that holds the tail shaft in place sheared off this morning, my mechanic is about 1.5KM away. Is there away I can cable tie or support the tail shaft so I can baby it to my mechanic without causing harm to my unis etc?

Ta.

Put a couple of cable ties on it to hold it against the outer support. You only have to stop it moving or it will thud and vibrate like a bitch when taking off. Drive it slowly and you will be OK.

And what exactly do you think the rubber does on the centre bearing? Stops it moving and takes out vibration. Cable tying the bearing to the mount will stop it moving enough for a 1.5km trip. Cable ties are strong enough for that.
