vr to vb diff conversion

is it possable to fit a late model vr diff into an early vb commo? I have a wrecked vr and a very high ratio diff i a vb v8. The vb is a dailey driver which runs on some old persuit rims and the car has been lowerd , will the track be to wide for the old girl?

nar mate wont fit i dont think.. ge the tape measure out and see.

The VR track is 71mm wider than the VB. I am not sure how much is diff width or tyre offset though.

I would say it wouldnt fit, especially with the car being lowered i would think there would atleast be major problems with guards scrubbing.

It wouldnt be a bolt in job, but you could get it to fit. I have some drawn diagrams here, but no scanner.
