just wondering if nebody no's if i can stick a vn/vp auto tranny in my vr and if so what problems occur from doing so??? cheers

VR's are electronically controlled transmission, I know the VN are hydromatic.

pretty sure it'll bolt on, but not sure about the wiring.

Hydraulic, not hydromatic.

not 100% sure about the wiring, but yes it will bolt up. wiring for the box is different, in that it's not on the engine loom like VR/VS.

there is 2 parts to the "transmission"
they'res the gear box and the transmission its self...
im not %100 sure if they are cross compadible.. but dan take me for a drive and and well see how bad it slips... might just need a new gear...

ive seen this car :) its nutz... bit of a jump from a VK to a VR

just a update found out that if it bolts up... it will work

you'll have to run a VN ecu, with a VN wiring loom...
then run a VR manual tune for it with a few things modified...

i can do the tune for ya...

went for a ride in this car today... torque converter is slipping BAD... it magically jumps out of hear like you just pressed the clutch in
