Yeah I was hoping because the floor pan is similar in the ute and wagons the tank might have been the same. If I get another tank it's gonna have to be a ute one. Spose it couldn't be really since if it was the rear passengers would be sitting on a tank....

I'll see if I can get my microfiche reader out today and look at the spare parts listing that I have and see what the part numbers are between the tanks and if there is a capacity explanation.

Mine looks vastly different. Mine is smaller and is basically flat on the top and bottom. The breather piece is way closer to the edge as well.

in my handbook that came with the ute it says
sedan 59 or 73 ltrs depending on model
wagon 68 ltrs
ute 63ltrs

Yepp definitely not 63 litres. If it was I could get 580km out of a tank, where as am lucky to get 400 and that's if I fill it to overflow, with economy at roughly 10.5 - 11lph, depending on what speed I sit on.

That tank above is a lot wider than mine.

ute fuel tanks are prone to rust so someone has modded a tank to fit
