thats the good thing about primer. as long as you dont get solvent boil it really dosent matter how it goes on cause you can sand it off.....
Yeah haha, i'd say it's cause i'm using fast hardener.

been busy haven't had much time to do anything to it.

Half the ute has been blocked down with 240-grit then finished with 400-grit, got some second hand headlights the best i could find at the wrecking yard, they look pretty new, also some better condition hinges seen some blue ngk spark leads thought i'd get them too.

Hopefully it'll be blocked down this week and painted this weekend or the next.

Some more work done on the ute, Put most of the engine bay together just need to put lights back in (waiting for bolts to cure) then screw the otr induction down.

Painted bolts, hinges, and guard supports, Also blocked the other half of the car, just need to finish it off with 400 and fix a dent that was missed and it'll be ready for paint.

also a new windscreen washer bottle.

Did the bonnet, Guards and bumper last night Turned out good besides the bonnet.
Whole thing was cloudy as ####, and covered in solvent pop :bang: so it got rubbed down with 800 grit then cleared

i can only imagine how excited you are at this stage.

nice work! now to bolt it all back up without scratching anything :p

Haha i'm just glad its done, And happy how it turned out i've only recently started spray painting and i'm pretty surprised how it turned out.
Already scratched the part at the botton of the rear window inside the tray, But i'll probably repaint that section since i got a little run in there (only run i got) ;)
