great job dude...

also youll find when you bolt up the bonnet it might be 1 or 2 shades darker than the guards. it happens when you clear over a solid color and compare it to the panels next to it that havent been cleared. the clear will make the bonnet slightly darker and deeper (more depth). should be ok though on the bonnet. just dont do that to any side panels...

Because if I used dg again I'd run the risk of getting solvent pop again, where if I cleared it I'll have less chance

getting solvent pop is a direct result of either wrong application (applied too heavy or not flashed between coats) or too much reducer in the product.... you can get it with clear coats too.

I don't profess to be a painter, but that makes no sense. You're doing exactly the same thing, but instead of using 2K you're using clear. As hi Ryder said, solvent boil has nothing to do with the product being used, it's the application.

Haha i'm just glad its done, And happy how it turned out i've only recently started spray painting and i'm pretty surprised how it turned out.
Already scratched the part at the botton of the rear window inside the tray, But i'll probably repaint that section since i got a little run in there (only run i got) ;)

Nice job. Colour choice will stand out from the crowd too.
Well done on only one run. When I paint, it's like that Sylvester Stallone movie: CliffHanger
