Yup, he helped confirm something I wasn't sure about. Although, having said that, we haven't yet tested those changes as I didn't want to make to many changes in one go. It's on the list for @Deuce today as he has a number of tests to run as I've sent him a few different tune files to test various things. As we confirm things we'll add those to the main tune and hopefully in a few days we'll have all the bugs worked out and a really good tune to go forward with.

I'm just waiting for the next batch of datalogs to arrive.
You're a bit keen expecting me to drive it again before the weekend......

Rotating wheels front to back, back to front, left to right.
I started by removing the rears and washing the rims inside and out.
Cleanliness of the hard to reach inside rim makes me happy.

Revtek ashtray delete, double gauge holder to tidy up the cockpit.

It was a Christmas present from Mr 1 y/o.
He also helped test and take a picture (by activating the window washers, hmmm).

I needed to move oil pressure gauge wiring as that was in the wallet tray below headunit.
And also trim down both gauge backing clamps. They are obviously made for flat gauge mounts, which this is not. I should have taken a photo.

How do you fund reading them ?

Would they be better if slanted towards the driver?

I turned it on to check they work. Waited for AFR warm up cycle to start reading, and then took a photo. So no drive yet.

Angled may be better to read, but I thought parallel was more traditional for a mid 90's car.

I'll get back to you on how it is to read after I take it for a spin.

I have done the yearly calibration sequence on the wideband.
Also uploaded a new tune with a 'special' AFR target on PWR button so I can check over everything again.
Especially after immortality finding that small issue of the button not switching tunes back in October. So all my tune should be a fraction out anyway.

With the gear lever in "D" I can only read oil pressure 25psi and below in my normally seated position.
Not really a drama as I don't have time to look at it when it's 70psi WOT.
But nevertheless I think it will look a bit better if I switch it with the wideband as the wideband is taller and the flow of the centre console would suit it better the other way around.
One day though.

Gosh, not sure I've driven the car since the above post.
Started it up this morning and reversed out of the garage, to which the family noted two trails of leak drips following me.
Hmm, smells like fuel.
So back in the garage it went, and I'll diagnose and repair at a later date. It's around the fuel rail inlet though.

I also purchased a fire extinguisher for the garage this afternoon, as I hadn't got one for this garage yet. Just incase.

Last weekend I tried to find leak by cycling the pre-start prime cycle. But not enough pressure to see anything.
Wednesday arvo, tried to diagnose fuel leak location with my nephew. But battery power was too low to start.
Charged battery and repeated attempts on Thursday.
Bingo:

So trimmed the end and reattached - tested fine.
Friday morning I used the car to drop my eldest at school, no fuel leak, but plenty of dust cloud going down the street (which is a bit un-nerving when keeping an eye out for signs of @someguy360 stato in my engine bay).
Poked my eye under the car when he was getting out - coolant drips and puddle. Dang.
Shot home to swap cars, but then quickly found leak and tightened.heater hose clamp.

Drove to work - no puddles under the car.
Home later (short day). Rinse car of all the dust.
Used it twice more without drama,
And then rolled out approx 3x3m carpet from one of the rooms after we re-carpeted the house.

So now I'll stay warmer if I need to get under the car in winter.
I'll see how that works out and maybe try some more at some stage.
