Found out why cruise control hasn't worked lately. The green wire on the signal stalk is clean broken.
Might have to get a new one tomorrow.
Never updated you guys on this one.
So I did fit the new stalk over a month ago, but cruise still didn't work.
But today I found a moment to hunt out fuses (while my 11month old helped of course) and found that the cruise fuse was blown. It must have gone when that wire snapped. Plus it was a 20amp instead of a 10amp.
Needless to say I have fitted a 10amp to the car. But did not get the chance to test drive at all.

Test drove fine and cruise works fine.
If I turn CRS on though, it stays on even after the car is switched off and back on again later.
I thought you had to turn it on every time you start the car? Or did I go that long without it, I had forgotten?

Always assumed anytime you touch brakes automatically turns it off then you have to reset it.

Brake switch or stalk/wiring?

edit: I'm thinking about activate light d'oh

HSV VS Maloo , 2002 Monaro
A spring chicken km wise!!!!! And well looked after and goes better!!!

Perspective I bought my maloo with 85500 kms on it in 2012 ( dam if it wasn't a daily = now certainly quite a few kms less than 150,000km = but I certainly couldn't have justified/ bought/ run it that way).
So 8.5 years later( 6 years / 110,000 km as a daily) and then last almost 2.5 years ( have to check but quessing) 2000km = seems not bad.

Monaro = aug 2009 to now approximately 48, 000kms = seems like a huge amount , = considering it was never a daily. .
Have to say though would not swap any memories/ useage on either.
