Went for a short drive to the end of the drive way (read about 7 meters) and that brake pedal feel is AWESOME!!!
But then checked and found the adapter fitting was weeping, so back in the garage.
Wasn't surprised though, as asked for a M10 bubble flare to M12 bubble flare adapter, and actually got M12 universal to M10 inverted flare adapter with advise to 'just drill it'. I did drill it, but a sharp drill does not leave a smooth finish.
So I whipped the fitting off, cut down a small dremel stone to fit and polished the sealing surface. Reassembled, bled that section of line at the ABS unit, and will try test drive again tomorrow.
Man that pedal felt good!

Check this morning, no leaks.
Drove down the road and back, no leaks.
Drove to work, no leaks.
Worked all day, no leaks.
Drove home, no leaks.

I'll give that a pass mark.

Next on the list, master cylinder front strut tower support bracket.

Hi all, forgot to update once strut tower bracket was made and fitted.
Here you go (might remake bracket oneday, but this one seems stiff and looks okay):

Radiator was still leaking (unmagically didn't fix it self. Even got worse tbh) so fitted a recored factory tank yesterday. This means I put the shroud back on too.
Today I got a new 100kpa rad cap and also finally found some more clips that hold the front plastic on (I have been missing the end two for about 4+ years)

Definately looks busy in the bay with the shroud back on.

So, as per my other thread, fuel gauge stuck on full (37ohm) when i was a bit over half tank. Pulled tank out, started to remove sender/pump, heard a noise, retested resistance, and it seams the sender was stuck up on something but then dropped down. So put tank back in (after brushing top clean of stones/dirt etc). Note to self, fit breather line whentank is down, and force it back through ruthlessly to where it goes when lifting tank back up.

I had an 800km weekend in the car.
It went really well! Brakes were good, temp was good. It performed well (considering it was pulling around 2000kg for almost half of that, including some wicked windies and hills too).
Potentially more kms in a weekend than I have done in the last 12 months!

Crikey Deuce, you've been busy! heaps of cool mods.
Are you bringing it out to meremere this weekend?
Hoping so, be keen to catchup with you and Immoratility again if he's about.

Hi mate,

Long time no hear, I hope all is well. Unfortunately I won't be about this weekend as it's my first night shift back at work in 4 months.

Wow, literally read a few back pages on this yesterday and checked when you last logged into JC (the answer was almost 2yrs ago). Glad to have you back.
I'm currently on the GoldCoast and fly back on father's day. So unless it is delayed 2 weeks, I'm out. I'm guessing your finished in Sydney and back home again? You are welcome to visit Hamilton anytime for a catch up.
Just picked up the 11p tune from immortality so keen to get logging with the wide band as part of the data log.
