Gday, a quick question, i have rebuilt a vr engine and set it up for a vn wiring loom. i put a roll master timing set on and was unable to put the lil magnet part of the sensor on the roll master cam gear. its part of the sensor thats on the timing cover under the water pump. will the motor still run good with out the magnet oir is it best to change it back to stardard set up? cheers

the VN doesnt use the cam position sensor so it will make no difference

In a VR, it will run, but will set a code or codes and fire all the injectors at once rather than each bank separately.
