[VR V6] squeaky steering wheel/door

my steering wheel recently started squeaking when it gets turned, so annoying. same with the door, how do I fix this?

for the doors wd40 works but dries out very quickly and the sqeaks are back
TAC2 a crc product works the best and lasts for ages

Oil the hinges and the check strap with actual oil. As for the steering, grease up the rubber seal that the steering rack protrudes from in the firewall (engine bay side).

whats the check strap? what should I use to grease the steering with?

what's CRC. sorry never heard of any of this before.

The check strap is the metal plate that keeps your door open when required. CRC/WD40/RP7 are all types of spray lubricant. I greased my steering rack with a lithium grease containing molybdenum.

drenched the door hinges in RP7, did nothing. I'm guessing some rubbers or something are broken inside the door? haven't tried the steering wheel yet.

ok.. I did spray for a while, whilst opening and closing the door.
