VR V6 verses VE V6

My ute with Pacies, exhaust, memcal and LSD would be on par with a VE 3.6. Once my CAI finally arrives I should get extra gains of around another 35-40RWHP. Then it will be a no brainer, VR would win hands down.

I im a little arg

The vr is a 3.8L but the ve sv6 3.6 has dohc so im seeing if anyone actually raced them.

@delcowizzid races an old Buick V6, which puts out huge HP. Can't remember the figures but yeah it would cane a 3.6 DOHC no problems.

A 3.0 Allotec is 2994cc, or 182.7ci.
Therefore a VE Omega would be fastest because it is halfway between the mighty 179ci and the even mightier 186ci.

Some of us here are old enough to remember that the Buick V6 3.8 being used in the Formula Holden open wheelers.

The original VE omega with the old 4l60e was a slug.

Oh yeah, that extra displacement makes the VR a sure fire winner.
