So I've got a vr v6 auto that has been running rough on start up, missing and carrying on. But if I held it at about 2000 rpm for a minute or so it would seem to run alright. Then it started to stall every now and then and would take a while to start. Two days ago it stalled and wouldn't start at all. So I checked the usual things, coolant, oil and I cracked a fuel line on the manifold to see if it was getting fuel which it is. I left it overnight and tried to start it again the next day and it started. I drove it for about 15mins and it stalled again. I cracked the fuel line again to check that the fuel pump wasn't cutting in and out and I had fuel at the manifold. So I tightened it back up and tried to start the car again and it ran. I drove about another 15mins and same thing happened. So I repeated the fuel line process and she went again. Finally the car stopped and I tried this process over and over and the car won't start. I've since checked for error codes and it seems to be ok. I'm at a loss as to where I go from here any ideas shared would be grately appreciated.
