vr v8 help

    ok so im converting a vr v6 acclaim swagon to a vr acclaim v8 swagon
    i now have :
    vn v8 engine
    vr v8 trans
    vr v8 loom
    new engine mounts
    vr v8 computer
    vr v8 k frame
    new welsh plugs to go in
    and bits for the dizzy
    first up i wanna replace the castor rod bushes while the k frame is out how to do this and how much.
    seccondly how to do the welsh plugs do i need a engine hoist
    thirdly i wanna know if there is any decent gain in headers or should i go extractors and how much should i pay
    4ly im replaceing seals eg: rear rope seal,tb seal, rocker cover gaskets.
    5)i need new injectors i can source blue tops for nothing or 90 for v6/v8 injectors should i go the blue tops or will it flood constantly and eat the fuel.
    should i do anything else.
    6) i snagged an issue can i make the vn v8 dizzy work with the vr v8 loom they have a different plug is there any info on these dissys i dont wanna fork out the coin for the new dizzy.
    7) coils should i use the oil coil or the hec716 bosch electric looking thingy
    8) any one chassing a vn v8 looom or trans i bought a vn v8 trans for 800 with 176k on the clock from a yard but u cant use the vn trans in a vr
    im asking 300-400 for the trans just need the coin
    also have a mint as vr v6 engine loom computer trans with shift kit and everything else sorry i had to put it here cause i cant use the trader for some reason ?? cheers number is 0409649905 im in adelaide

    Go extractors if you got the coin 4 it as they are hard to fit once the engine is in, go proper ones too like paccies or hi-techs, not just the crappy hsv things. Move the coil somwhere more accesible whichever way you go, so it is easy to get to in the future. Unsure about dizzy, but they are not very expensive, have a look on ebay, ive seen em there for nix.

    But all sounds good what your doing, seals and welsh plugs are excelent ideas.

    yeah im hopping to have her on the road soon its costing a total of 650-850 for the whole conversion vnv8 and trans out vrv6 and trans out and vn v8 vr v8 trans in etc etc most places where asking minimum 1000
