and being a p plater in nsw. may be facing having slot a v6 in her if i cant get an exemption

just wondering. is this a hard excercise?

if i were to buy a v6 motor and tranny inc computers etc from a vs. ecotec.

uhmm anything else i would have to change?

and also getting it registered with the 3.8 anyone know the course of action?

does it have to go for another blue slip with the new motor.

because i allready bought the 5 litre.

and i would then be able to trick up the 5 litre ready to put back in

and considering the price of a decent v6 and auto is about 4-500 bucks including everything.

it would make it not too bad. as i can do all the work myself. just might need to hire a hoist for a day or two.

and this is only if i cant get an exemption to drive the 5 litre.

shouldn't be that hard, probably need a donar VR. depends really on how muchlonger you are on your P's as to how much you do, The AC piping is very different so if you do the conversion and could live without AC it make it easier and cheaper, you would need radiator and Kframe ECU and engine harness.
It makes sense to do what you say as you can trick the V8 up and get things ready for it to go back when you do the 6 record everything you take or alter for the return of the 8.
I wouldnt bother with suspension alterations and such just would motor gearbox tailshaft Etc.

I would just spend the money on another car to run around in, a lot of work just to satisfy a rule. While you are driving the other car trick the stato up. You will probably sell the other car for about the same as you bought it for anyway so no loss. How long have you got to go?
