VRV8 radiator recommend

Hi hope everyone is well just want to know which radiator would be good for VR V8 I did buy the car with a after market thin radiator. Not sure if I should replace with a new one please help

The factory copper and brass version.

Not cheap but the best option.

As above the factory copper brass one, they are hard to find now I've found as everyone is doing the shitty 1 row plastic tank jobs like the modern cars have.

If you do find one new expect to pay around $500.

At the moment I'm running a 2 row aluminium one from Rare Spares which was around $280 which has taken some serious punishment and never let me down.


If you go for a stock one, this is what the original brass/copper ones looked like:

These are what most parts retaillers are flogging now which has about 20% of the overall capacity the original ones did and will only last a year or so:

'94 VR SS V8
I recently fitted an Adrad. Paid over 600 for it. Thicker core and bigger internal trans cooler (police spec they reckon)
Anyway, probably the best money I have spent on a car in a long time.
VR V8, 355 stroker motor.
