    Hi,

I don't know much about cars, but my husband and I were driving home tonight, and tried use the hazards to blinker goodbye to our friend, and notice that it blink once then stopped. The only way to make the Hazards work is to hold to button in... which isn't ideal for times when you need the hazard lights. The indicators work, and the Hazards work fine if you are holding the button in. just if you press it in, it stops working.

    Any ideas? Fixes?

    Thanks
    Mel

Just sounds like something is busted inside the switch and is not keeping constant electrical contact. Is the button still spring loaded? i.e clicks in and out like the ac and rear demist buttons next to it? Probably just need a new hazard switch.

Have a look at this "how-to" - it deals with fixing the odometer but first it shows how to pull the dash panel which has the hazard switch in it....removal will be apparent. Be careful if you get a switch from the wreckers as these switches have a habit of breaking and get a guarantee that it will work...new ones probably cost about $50 or so.
