VS2 Statesman V6 Not Supercharged
It was recommended to me that I should change the inlet manifold gaskets every 200,000km as a preventative maintenance procedure. This was to circumvent coolant leaking into the inlet manifold.
My VS 2 Statesman has 380,000km on the clock. It is not leaking and has never been changed.
Does anyone know of or support this recommendation that I have been given?

If it ain't broke than don't fix it :)

If it's not using coolant than I'd leave it alone or until the distributor dies, then I'd do both at the same time.

^^^ Pretty much, if they do end up going it doesn't render the car unusable, like it's not going to leave you stranded or anything, just keep a cursory glance for symptoms.

Had mine go till 280,000 without being changed until I wrote the car off.

Didn't think that a V6 had a distributor, or are they different over in NZ (LOL).

Yeah but you don't see this info on the phone, like you do on the computer.
