11th annual West Coast Commodores Peter Brock Memorial Cruise today.

Meet up at Midland, out to the crash site memorial in Gidgegannup, then back to Guildford for show n shine.

Yeah, some good numbers.

Didn't seem as many as the last time I went a few years ago but a good day with some nice cars nonetheless.

Nice drive too.....good to get out of the burbs.

There were three things wrong with the interior of this when I bought it.

1. No mats
2. Silver coating flaking off the gear knob.
3. Silver speaker grille trim ring missing from rear driver's side door.

Mats previously sorted.

Dealing with the speaker trim ring proved a little more difficult. Speaking with Holden spares and wreckers always resulted in the same response. Nah mate, they are plastic welded on. You need the whole door trim.

Me - then why is just the trim missing from mine ?

Them - Don't know mate, but they don't come off separately.

Go searching eBay and find speaker grilles for sale, without door trims.

While the grille itself may be plastic welded to the trim, the silver ring isn't.

Waiting for a new gear knob to come up at a reasonable price before I replace that.
