Hi. I am new to this forum and I have a problem with my ute. When it is running on LPG it dual fuels on 2 cylinders. It has new petrol injectors as I was told this was the problem. I have disconnected the petrol injectors and it runs fine when I reconnect the the petrol injectors it dual fuels on the front 2 cylinders on the passengers side. I have had a few gas people look at it and they don't seem to be that forthcoming with any answers. I hope somebody out there might be able to shed some light on it. Cheers.
Pull apart the wiring to the injectors and ensure that the red wire (+12v) doesn't give power to the injectors when running on gas. If it has 12v at two cylinders, the injectors have been wired incorrectly. Otherwise if it has a factory duel fuel memcal it may be a different problem.
Thanks for your reply EYY. I played with the wiring today and I could not find a problem. I contacted the previous owner and he told me it started as a intermittent fault in December 2014 but was given a company car so the ute was put in the naughty corner. It is a after market system. It's starting to look like it may be in a control unit. What are your thoughts? or would anyone like to have a guess. Cheers.
