vs ute 5ltr into vs sedan or wag

Hi everyone, im new here this is my 1st post so please be nice.
Ive got a vs s3 ute late 98 build, 5ltr 5speed, howeva after a very big stroke of bad luck i had a bingle and well lets just say my shell is stuffed(kinked roof bent pillars) now what im trying to find out is the following

pulling my running gear out and putting it into a vs sedan or wagon, i belive i need to change k frames, as with the ecu from my ute. now will the bcm from a ute work in a sedan or wagon? does the manual have a pcm? wiring looms, is the engine loom seperate from the rest of the wiring? im pretty sure ive asked everything im not sure on but if anybody has any advice id appreciate it. i am a mechanic but on trucks. also if i cant get my hands on a vs would it be much diffrent doing it to a vr?

Hew newby, sad to hear you banged up your ute, if you use your complete motor/box/xmember/wiring loom from the ute it will power any VN-VS holden.

Awww that sucks. One less series 3 v8 :(

Agree with the above, transfer everything and you'll be right.
