VS Berlina hit a kerb at speed and bent the suspension and n/s rail. repair shop wants $3000 just to straighten the rail! Is this even near reasonable?

i remember wen i hit a kerb sideways in my vn at 70kms, moved the whole diff over, the cost to use the machine to fix it wasnt even that high, i think you may be getting ur leg pulled man, ask around elsewhere.

I've seen wrecked VS's for sale for less than $1000 so I say it's a bit unreasonable when you can get the parts you need from another car

If they say $3000 to fix go get some more quotes, and if they come back bout the same i'd say it's a total loss:rip:.
Save your yourself the haslle and just go get a new car because it will probably never driver aswell and you'll be dissapointed that you wasted your hard earned cash as i did on my VH SL/E, and on the bright side you could wreck it and make some extra cash on top(not much of a bright side but better than nothing)
