after like a while of driving around the car revs real high and going real slow like the clutch is in half way.... i popped the bonnet checked me oil and der was f.a oil so i topped her up would this be the reason?
As long as the oil pressure light didn't come on, the low oil level should not have caused any problems. The high revs could be from a slipping clutch.
Low oil can also cause overheating if you thrash the donk which can cause all sorts of problems. every time it comes on it means that bearings etc are not being properly lubricated and can/will fail. Its only a matter of time.
The oil is probably leaking from your rear main seal onto the clutch, which will make it slip until the oil burns off.
