Looking at adding some genuine audio Controls to the steering wheel of my VS S from a VS Calais. I have done some research and found that I will need to install a VS Calais radio (I don’t care about the CD Stacker I use my I-pod). Also a high series BCM. I currently have a mid series in my car, if I install a high series BCM will this still work in my car? Should I then be able to add Calais option through out my car e.g. security remote boot release. There was also talk of a clock spring and that it has connection to an airbag. I don’t have an airbag in my car will this affect this job. Has this been done before? Any help greatly appreciated
Does anybody or has anybody heard that there should be a separate module that is clipped to the top of the BCM to support the audio controls on a VS Calais steering wheel.
Wow big question. I might just have a look and see where the steering wheel audio controls go in my calais and let you know.
