Hi I have a 96 berlina 4 speed auto I took on a run from Brisbane to Gladstone yesterday now today when I went to drive it it seems like 1st and 4th gears are not working. It's stuggles off the mark don't think it's slipping it don't rev right out only to about 3000 rpm then once it's going it seems ok but is still reving higher then normal ( about the same as if it is still in 3r). Can anyone out there please help with what the problem might be

the 4th gear is torque converter lockup, as for 1st gear issue, put it in 1st gear manual and see if it changes to 2nd gear to know for sure.

    Is your oil level correct?

You should get hold of a Gregorys manual for your car as it will explain how to change the bulbs although a search on this may or may not give results. If you do decide to change the bulb (if it is missing) then do not turn ignition on whilst dash is removed otherwise you will set a lot of errors/codes. Bulbs rarely burn out.
