Progress has been slow, but good news its nearly close to its first start now!

Since ruining my alternator trying to take it apart to rebuilt it, I found a new ecotec alternator at the wreckersinstead and changed the rear housings over and put the Clarko's underdrive pulley on.

Ive also been doing some porting in the cat pipes, i wasnt happy with the job the exhaust shop did, didnt line up the pipe with the flanges and one flange had some old pipe cut of inside it and some welding wire sticking inside (can see it just inside th

Finally got the polished rocker covers on today, and took a peak at the Mace 1.7 rockers, shiny :)

Test fit Accessories and Clarkos underdrive pulleys, unfortunately the water pump pulley doesnt have enough clearance to the idler with the belt passing through twice which im bit annoyed about, will source a smaller idler for it, but not going to run the underdrive on the water pump for now.

And got the Blower bolted on and torqued up

Should be running by first or second weekend of September, just sorting out the last few bits!

Awesome progress man, not far away now! Loving the carbon bits and you will absolutely love the TrueTrac! Its made mine considerably more tail happy too. I can recommend a good diff guy in the penrith area if you need someone to install it?
