Vs commodore bt1
So I bought a car not too long ago checking the plates it was printed bt1 the car is a lighter shade of blue and it has all the same bt1 fe2 suspension lsd I find it weird I've never seen a blue vs ex cop car, could it possibly be an unmarked highway patrol?

Given it's not an 8, I would guess it was a detective's car.

SAPOL only used white for Patrol vehicles from about VN Series 2. Being a V6 it was most likely the D's or another govt department.

If still got log book should tell you where it came from..as stated most likely unmarked detective car although some never ended up there & got sold to public same spec etc.

Just normal car untill cop accessories get fitted.

Unless things changed, S.A cop cars were all registered to the one address in the city.

I have an ex-cop car of another make here...I was told it was a country highway patrol car but in the original books, the registered address is in the city....Being a V8, I doubt it was a city cruiser, when the cars also had 6's they used in cop cars
