VS Calais front bumper - Series 1 & Series - interchangeable?

    Hi Folks
    I have a 1995 VS Calais series 1 model and need to replace the front bumper bar cover - ran into a tow bar.
    I can see the two tone (silver bottom section) of the 2 models is not aligned. Overlooking this part, would a 1996 VS Calais series 2 bumper bar cover be a replacement?

    Yes they are. I'm looking for a VS Calais Series 2 bumper bar for my VS Berlina.

    yeah they will fit but im pretty sure the series 2 had the fog light and bezels also so you'll either have to fit the fog lights or you'll have bigger holes in the bumper than whats already in there ...

    Yeah thats right. Thats why I want the series 2 bumper, so I can put the original fog lights in.

    Goodluck finding one, either buy one in mint condition in your colour already or get a brand new one and get it painted, Dont paint a second hand one

    Thanks for the advice :) Can I just ask why you can't/shouldn't paint a second hand bumper? I don't think ill find one the same colour as my VS, I have never seen a Calais in that blue colour before.
