My Trip meter seems to be reading too many KMS I did about 120 kms today but the trip meter is reading 140kms Does anyone know why it might be doing this I will recheck it tomorrow to see what it reads going to work and back
What size tyres and rims do you have? You're tyre size may be smaller than recommended and having to rotate more to get from point A to point B.
You might have to adjust the distance calibration number in the trip computer: Press the MODE button until the DISTANCE TRAVELLED is displayed . Line the car against a known marker, eg. line the front wheel of the car with a highway kilometer (shield) post . Press + and - buttons simultaneously and the display will go to zero . Drive off and the display will increase. Stop the car exactly 10 kms from the starting point, eg. front wheel in line with highway kilometer (shield) post, 10 kms from the original post. . Press the - button. This will complete the distance calibration, enter the displayed calibration number into computer memory and return the display to the DISTANCE TRAVELLED function. Note: . This calibration does not reset other functions back to zero . The calibration number will return to 625 if the new figure is more than 752 or less than 497 The calibration number can be shown at any time by holding the reset button for longer than three seconds when the DISTANCE TRAVELLED is displayed, and can be manually adjusted by pressing the + or - buttons while the calibration number is displayed.
