definitely needs rims, lowering and exhaust...they are the basis mods...but it does look really nice as it is, calais' have always appealed to me.

I think you should give it a good service first, tranny and engine, replace plugs, air filter, oil filter and fuel filter, check to see if any fault codes pop up. Then get stuck into the mods:
1) Wheels
2) Lowering (make sure you get camber kit fitted being irs)
3) Cai and exhaust (let her breath a little easier)
4) Stereo
5) Tinting
6) Upgraded exhaust (extractors and high flow cat)
Then leave it at that, but if you're desperate for more, possibly cam upgrade, s/c injectors, k&n panel filter, shift kit, and then finally a good old blower or stroke it  lol. Nar stick with the basics, exhaust, cai, wheels, and lowering.

I've given up on the stereo and extractors department as i'm thinking about parting with my VS and getting a 5L VT :yeah:

Cheers,
Boojakz.

some cheap but good mods:
CAI, Paint yer engine cover(black looks better than silver IMO)
Clear oval side indicators, exhaust tip, debadge the 'holden'
and 'calalis' badges from rear (neatens it up)
if you want some shine under the hood get a strut brace (more for looks than handling!) hope that helps a bit
