i have installed a cigarrete lighter adapter in my boot so i can a fridge in my boot. i have spliced my power from the boot light and earthed it on the boot. it runs fine but my mate says that thw wire cant carry that much current and the wire will overheat. surely if the cigarrete lighter on the console can a fridge fine wont this one?

thanks in advance

What size wire have you used? Surely all but the smallest guage wire could handle it. The light wire should be fine for it though

It should run fine, i have 3 neons hooked up to my boot light, plus the boot light, which light up when i open the boot, nothing wrong with it. It may occasionally blow but a fuse is only like 40c each.
