VS Climate Control not Working Urgent Help please.

Hi Guys,

My climate control isn't working, basically nothing is coming up on screen (main screen) but the buttons on the bottom lite up?? no heater or cool air of A/C works, went to the mechanic and he tried another climate control unit and it did the same thing didn't work.

He also said to check if its getting power? how do l check that? It is a late 97 VS Calais.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would check fuse 17 as its the ignition fuse that runs the climate control panel also fuse 1 witch is the battery fed fuse for it. otherwise send me your email and i will send you the wiring diagram

I had this problem a while ago, but I'm not 100% sure how I fixed it. I remember that one of the plugs on the back takes more to push in than it's 1st "click" but I have a feeling I figured that out before this problem came up. I ended up replacing the control unit and also the solenoids under the headunit, but I cant imagine replacing the soleniods would have helped that particular problem.
So there you go, I don't think I helped at all

Replace the "LP. CHK" Relay in relay box.
