Hi.

The climate control unit in my VS Calais has been playing up scince owning the car.
Ive read around and cant seem to diagnose why the unit wont physically switch on. Its an intermittent problem because it does operate, and when it deos its fine but then just dies again after 10minutes at best. Ive tried to run the diagnostic for it but did not work.

There is power getting to the orange wires on both looms. Fuses are fine.
Tested another C/C unit from a VR with no success either.

could this be a loose ground or a sensor thats stuffed?

any help cheers.

When it dies - As in switches itself off - no screen or cuts out.

Could be low presure switch.
