Or just drill a 75mm diameter hole on the extreme right side the bottom half of the cold air box facing the back of the headlight.
(This is about the biggest you make it without losing too much meat between the standard duct intake or you will weaken the airbox)
Also keep the standard air duct into the cold air box in place.
Free fix for getting rid of any pressure drop or losses caused by a flow restriction whilst getting plenty of cold air that is sucked behind the headlight.
In hindsight this is all you need to do on stock V6, IMO.
I doubt there is a measurable difference of more than 1 kw between this free fix and other cold air intakes systems available on the market.
