vs commodore wagon
i own a vs commodore wagon,,ive noticed when i go for a drive sometimes (most off the time) the battery light comes on on the dash... an stays on for a good 15 minutes then turns off all offf a sudden. there is no loss off power to the vehicle and no loss off power to any light sorce... head lights... dash lights etc..if someone could help me to identify would be much apreciated..im new to this sight so bare with me cheers!!

Alternator probably. Get it tested and go from there.

Will most likely be the voltage regulator in the alternator. The bushes in the voltage regulator wear out over time and need to be replaced. Easy to install (make sure you disconnect battery) and about $50-60 to buy a new one.

while you are at it, get a voltmeter - it's much more informative than a light.
