Just emailed this to someone so I thought I might as well post it..........
First of all make sure you're A/C, fan, radio etc are all off.
The terminal rack you need is located above your brake pedal.
Bridge the two terminals (shown in photo) together with a paperclip.
Yours may have a couple less or more (not sure) but the ones I have circled will be the ones you want.
Then turn your key to accessories.
Your engine warning light will flash a code.
Eg. Flash - pause - flash flash. (then repeats)
This is code 12. Which means there are no faults detected.
If it flashes another code, then the computer has picked up a fault. The codes are found in the WORKSHOP manual for your model (not the manual you get with your car)
The link below will tell you the codes. (Think there are more than this though)

If you do find a copy of ALL the codes, could you please let everyone know.
