vs commodore - irs / diff

    Hey guys,

    I have a vs commodore, and i was wondering whyhave diff not irs. Is this factory or aftermarket? The com. Plate says its a gu4 axle is that factory?? Need to know asap thanks.

    They had irs and solid axle. Gu4 is 3.08 diff ratio. Calais and I think some ss had IRS, others will correct mr on that

    VS Calais - Cooled L67 + T56 | VR Acclaim V6
    berlina has live axle standard.

    Usually S, SS, Acclaim, Calais, and Statesman has IRS, unless it was up-spec by the customer.

    All Acclaim, including, FWIW, VR, came with IRS. If the car is badged as an Acclaim but doesn't have IRS, (+ ABS and SRS) it's a rebadged something else (most likely Executive). (I'm only guessing at the intent behind the Q.)

    MY07 Liberty 30R Spec B 6sp wagon
    As above unless it's a wagon. They all had solid axle (5 link in Holden speak).

    My step brother has a vr commodore and he has irs and our cars ate idenitical.
