vs commodore v6
My VS V6 commodore was missing under load I herd a lot of crap about the cause.
What it was in the end was the middle coil pack and it was not hard to identify
the problem just take off the spark plug leads one by one while the engine was
running and the middle coil pack there was no zapping while the others did.
The motor had so much more power under load with better fuel economy.

If one coil is stuffed then the other two probably arent far behind.Ive found that its best to replace all 3 at the same time, and to use genuine holden coils or a well known brand coil like MSD.The cheaper coils dont seem to run as well as genuine or MSD ones.. These coils seem to slowly loose their performance over time until they get to a point where they cause misfiring under load....Also new genuine coils dont have the cylinder numbers marked on them,so if the coils have the cylinder numbers on them, then they are probably old original coils..

OR instead of risking zapping yourself you unplug injectors one by one until the engine DOESNT change idle speed when you unplug it then test that lead plug and coil....

have you changed the plugs? even if new there have been reports of faulty plugs...maybe try a different brand...
also try swapping out the dfi module and or check its wiring/plug...as a last resort try reducing the plug gap
