hello i have 96 vs v6 duel fuel it has problem loosing throtle responce. at the start running either fuel when slowing down the throtle would disappear like the cable disconnected ,turn the key off and start striaght away all good. the engine would be idling and not rough sometimes stall right out .now when i give it full throtle it does the same ,pull over goes into first gear all good again .try it several times both fuels same responce no throtle responce ,dose anyone have any sujestions thanks tony
Ok well it's still starting so you may be looking at the following dfi module, coil packs,spark plugs, crank angle sensor, fuel pump, those cars are always a pain to diagnose does the engine light come on if so check for error codes using a paper clip
thanks i will check error codes but have not had much joy with those in the past no engine light dose not come on
hello again today checked error codes comes up with 12 witch indicates no errors have tried second hand maf and throtle body still the same dosent crank angle and coil pack just die the leads and plugs are new has anyone had same problem thanks tony
