VS commodore stalling

Hi, before I go pulling everything apart and checking, I have a vs commodore v6 Ute, it’s just the kids rally car, you can jump start it, it runs for about 30 seconds then just stops

It had a new battery but the kids left the keys on and it jump started straight away but it just runs for a short time then shuts off again.

I don't know if that new battery has been damaged by draining it to low. Iff it needs jump-starting all the time the battery is toast. When you are able to start the engine on battery alone then at least you can begin the diagnosis process.
