I know someone that had a CV on their coffee table as a toy kinda like a mind puzzle thing.

Hide your hammers and be patient. Maybe look at a how to on youtube.

Line up the grooves from the inner and outer race, then just one ball at a time. You'll have to plunge the joint in and out and rotate it around a fair bit to get the last two in. Dont force it too much, when it's all lined up it comes together with minimal force

Should have installed a new CV joint at the same time with the centre bearing.

Make sure you grease it up correctly too.

the inner and outer grooves for the ball bearings need to be opposed
inner /
outter \
put all the bearings in except 2
should be easy to articulate and place the last 2 in

if the grooves are lined up you'll eventually get it together but it won't move and it'll be a nightmare to get apart again
