Vs commodore won't start.

My vs commodore won't click over it wants to go but won't. The accelerator has gone lose I go to pump down on it and it gives out no rev's. The breaks have tightened up and I've checked if it was fuel it's not as of got plenty of it. Would anybody have some idea of what may be wrong or advice? Thanks.
